Curtis Curtis Freed Founder/Director Curtis Freed’s inspiration for Strong Hands United began in 2015. Freed is an East Cleveland, Ohio native. Freed began his journey recognizing the adversities and barriers that the young men faced in his community. He is a single parent who raises his child with admirations and strength. Freed’s dedication and commitment in faith is a member of The Christian Kingdom Assembly. His passion for helping incarcerated men re-enter into society and press pass their adversity has driven him to minister and mentor in Ohio Correctional Institutions. Freed is also a member of National Fatherhood Initiative Steering Committee.
Nancy Nancy Hart GRANT CONSULTANT/RESEARCH DEVELOPER Nancy Hart has a Master’s Degree in education- community health/counseling and an undergraduate degree in criminal justice-correction. She has counseled at Metro Health Medical Center for over 15 years with chemically dependent and dual diagnosis patients. In the nonprofit sector, Ms. Hart has written numerous successful grants in a variety of areas. She has a long time interest in nature and its healing qualities.
